The Essex Way is a long distance footpath that passes our front gate. From here you can divert off into local woods and enjoy several circular walks of about 2 hours.
Turn right out the gate, turn right again at the public footpath and walk along an established footpath to St. Mary's Old Church (grade 1 Listed building). Open 10am - 4pm. Entry is free.
You dont have to take a dog, but if you want to let your cannine burn off some energy there is an easy 1 hr circular walk that passes 7 dog poo bins! Map in the club house.
20min walk either along established country footpaths, or along the road: or both for a circular walk.
30min walk across established country footpaths. Not walkable along the road as it's too narrow, unlit and with no pavement; but you can drive.
